I’m not sure why but every time I see these birds I recall “Feed The Birds” sung Julie Andrews in Mary Poppins…tuppence a bird.
Oh wow! I’d forgotten about that song. As a kid, I had the LP. I bet my mother still has it, stored in the old hi-fi.
