i keep one eye
on the ambitious door
where shadows race
and walls hum
he sits roughly
in brilliant chair
whilst another sits brilliantly
in stupid chair
thoughts interrupted
by rattling windows
and bones
just outside
someone works diligently
drilling into concrete
surrounded by cold ambient bells
powered by shaky hands
and warm sunshine
by mary ann blinkhorn
I like the juxtaposition of images. 🙂

Thank you, Michael. I was just over, reading your last poem. I like the way you write.
