then i see him
a hummingbird
flying at the edge of the earth
i stand mesmerised
frightened, delighted, happy
hanging on for dear life
my heart rate
twelve hundred beats per minute

Hi Leeza! Good to see you. Thanks. 🙂
Humming birds are certainly breathtaking! I’m always excited when I see one as well 🙂
Thank you, and welcome to my blog. 🙂
there is a hummingbird moth indigenous to north america, you know…
I saw one of those once…
Oh my gosh, I had a hummingbird fly into my garage once. Actually seeing them is a totally different story. They are so tiny and fragile, yet really beautiful. Their wings beat so fast it’s unbelievable. I never saw another after that. Oh well…great piece by the way!
Thanks for follow, I definitely hope to read through more of your work soon 🙂
That must have been quite the experience. Thanks for sharing it. Wishing you a wonderful day, and thanks so much for stopping by. M.A. 🙂
