I’m honored to have been nominated for the Creative Blogger Award. A big thanks to Noir–the darker side of sedge808 at: http://sedge808.com/ for nominating me. Gavin is a brilliant photographer. Do stop by his page if unfamiliar with his work.
The rules:
* Display the creative blogger award logo on your blog.
* Nominate 15-20 blogs and notify all nominees via their social media/blogs.
* Thank and post the link of the blog that nominated you (very important).
* Share 5 random facts about yourself to your readers.
* Pass these rules on to them.
To the people I nominate: Please accept my nomination for the Creative Blogger Award. If you’ve no time to participate, I understand. 🙂
Five facts about me:
1. I’m currently writing a new spec script. It’s a suspense thriller.
2. I’m looking forward to the warmth of summer — doing more writing outdoors.
3. I’m reading a book entitled, Eats, Shoots & Leaves by Lynne Truss. I’m also reading five screenwriting books and The Andy Warhol Diaries.
4. I just finished dying my hair a darker shade of blonde. This wasn’t intentional!
5. This weekend, I tried making detox water with orange, lemon, lime, cucumber and fresh mint leaves. It was wonderful — refreshing. I think I’m hooked.

‘darker shade of blonde’ sounds very nice.
your detox recipe sounds yummy.
Thanks, Gavin. I forgot to set the timer! As for the detox recipe, I’m not a good “water drinker” so making this recipe is a great alternative. Thanks again for nominating me. It’s 1:37 a.m and I start work early tomorrow so I have to turn in now. I’ll notify the nominees tomorrow. Best, Mary Ann
The award stuff is a lot of work….
But feels good when it’s finished.
Cheers, G.
YAY! Mary Ann! Nice to see the accolade. I’m glad to see you’ve slowed down, haha!
Liz, it’s so wonderful to see you here. I’ve missed you! 🙂
I really try to make the rounds, Mary Ann. I am not always successful. But I am watching! Oh that sounds a bit creepy! 😉
I totally understand. There’s only so much time! Good to see you.
Congratulations, Mary Ann! And thanks very much for the nomination – lovely of you to think of TFIPM.
The other day I saw I young man who looked exactly like Allen Ginsberg when he was young. I immediately thought to myself, it’s too bad Richard isn’t here to take his photo! 🙂 Best, Mary Ann
Shame, i’m a big fan of AG as well:)
Congratulations on this award, and thank you for passing it on to me 🙂
My pleasure, Leyla!
Congratulations on the award. 🙂
Thank you for thinking of me, but I have decided to returning to my previous policy of not participating in the award systen, bue to the amount of time required. Apologies.
No problem. Glad to be able to share your link with my readers. Cheers and best regards, Mary Ann.
Thank you. 🙂 I have just spotted the two mistakes in my comment. I was a bit out of it yesterday and retired to bed twice. Today I can survey the result as I appear to have returned to (what passes for) normal. 😉
Thanks! 🙂
My pleasure! 🙂
Yes, that detox water sounds great! I’m stealing your recipe.
Also, isn’t the book “Eats, Shoots and Leaves” wonderful? I found it in a secondhand bookstore last winter and read it all in one sitting. Absolutely loved her sense of humour.
