Extraordinary! I’ve seen shadows like this about one million times – and they always had gone nearly unnoticed, but seeing this picture I realize how beautiful they are!!
Shadows of trees thrill me tremendously. This cool slate-blue shadow of a younger tree, with that fantastic cage circumcrescent about the bole, flowing, bending like light in water, seems almost to be in motion, swimming over pavement, what an angle- it has such a soft still sort of smiling melancholy to it. Fantastic capture. Love this!
