there comes a day
when each of us must
cast away
our newly written sad love poems
penned in comfortable loafers
present them to the wind
seize the day
choose to put on
the black, shiny, stretchable dress shoes
tight, polished, pointed and priceless

….lovely! but what about those happy shoes?!!!!
allow them happier moments… 🙂
Well said!!! You must experience life in a variety of shoes. Last night I went on the Vancouver Sea Bus that takes all of the snowboarders home at the end of the day. I must confess, I would be a little scared to step into snowboard shoes…but maybe I should!!
maybe you should. Let me know if you do. 🙂
oooh. i’d love to see where those shoes go…………
They’re nifty little shoes… 🙂
They remind me of happy shoes – time to go tap dancing!
