truth is a sweet universe

standing in fog

with hole-punched heart

i cannot regret the garden

its many faces

mere moments in time

belonging to wildflowers

staccato rain falling

(noticed more often in summer)

rain knowing its place

in the universe

defining destination

i struggle silently

spilling first drafts

into puddles

land of a

thousand words

nearby

shall i be lenient?

benevolent?

forgiving?

true to my words and senses

of course I will

I shall call it acceptance

I am really terrible at understanding poetry. If it is any more complicated than Pam Ayres, I’m usually lost, but I did love the imagery of the staccato rain and the spilled first drafts.
