Inspiring Blog Award

This morning I was reading my blog comments, and there it was–a lovely surprise.  Thank you, Write Now, For Aspiring Artists at:  http://jaylt.wordpress.com/articles/ for nominating mypenandme for this award.  🙂

7 things about me:

1.  I walk to and from work every day.

2.  I start work at 11:00 a.m. so I can stay up late and write.

3.  I like Tuck and  Patti’s version of Time After Time.

4.  I love squirrels

5.  The very first haiku that I ever wrote was:

      I walk down Bloor Street

Pigeon knocks me in the head

      Flies away shaken

6.  I still have some 45s.

7.  I want to learn how to make sushi.

I nominate the following 15 blogs:

belated feet walking

one never knows what to do

when it doesn’t make sense

laughing with foolish teeth

she follows the skulking mist

until its footprints drop

down, down, down

onto a clay street

defacing a clay dog

that leaves her heartbroken

belated feet walking

she calls his name

tender fog presiding

protecting her from

bulky truths

telephone booths

big dipper in candid sky

does she resign

or does she fail to do so?

she holds out an apple

embracing the star within
